Happy 4th! It really sucks to be back at work right after a holiday, but tomorrow is Friday!... and that's always good. Yesterday morning, Oliver and I met up with Ley and her cousins to watch Transformers at Eastridge. Good thing we got tickets in advanced because there was a really long line! The movie was good, I liked it... the only thing that sucked was that I had jamba juice right before the movie, and even though I pee'd before it started, I had to go again in the middle of the movie!... and it was 2.5hrs long! I didn't want to leave because I didn't want to miss anything, but my bladder was so ready to explode. Ley felt the exact same way, so afterwards, we rushed to the bathroom... LINE!! UGH typical ladies room! I must have pissed for a good 10 seconds straight. When we were heading out of the theaters, the line for Transformers was INSANE! Good thing we saw it early... matinee showing too!

After, we had a bbq at Rob's and Ryan's place... first time I've ever been there. Nice place, cozy... with a CLEAN bathroom, hehe. We played FRIENDS Scene it! boys vs. girls. The hard core Friends' fanatics were Jenn, Michelle, and Rob... and Oliver was just a hustler! Haha, he swore that he wasn't that big of a Friends fan and probably wouldn't do too well, but him and Rob were hella into it. It was a pretty fun and funny game. I think the boys won it. Boo!

Around 9ish, Oliver and I left to watch the fireworks at Central Park in Santa Clara. We were on our way over there, but there was some traffic. So we decided to park at a Blockbuster parking lot and just chill on the grass at the cross streets of El Camino Real and Kiely. Good thing he had a small blanket in his car because I didn't want to get grass stains and shit. A lot of people came out... sitting on the grass, the sidewalks, on their cars, etc. The fireworks were great! I really didn't wanna miss fireworks this year because last 4th of July I didn't see any. There were these cute kids behind us saying "OH! That one was pretty!...That one was cooool!... Fireworks, how old are you!" HAHA That was funny. Anyway, yea, definitely a happy 4th for me.

On Monday, went out to dinner for Jo's bday at Claim Jumpers and then went to see Ratatouille.. again! I love that movie! I didnt tell my mom that it was about rats because she totally would have been against seeing it... (she ABHORS rats)... even though it's pixar. So, when the movie started and she saw the rats... she started covering her eyes and hitting me! lol, crazy mother. I know she ended up liking the movie tho, otherwise I would have asked her to pay me back!

Oliver took me to see Ratatouille on Friday. I love it! It's the perfect movie since I love pixar and have a weird fascination with food. It was funny because there were kids all around us. We were probably the only adults who went to see it without any kids, hehe. I'd definitely go see it again tho =) After the movie, we made it a two-for-one and watched Fantastic Four 2. I haven't seen the first one, but it was cool because Oliver would fill me in every now and then to keep me on track. It was a cool movie, I guess... had it's funny parts.

Celebrated Tiny's birthday on Saturday. It was just a small, chill party with lots and lots of wine! It was my first time playing Wii EVER and it was so much fun! We played Mario Party, Bowling, and Tennis. Haha, if I wanna compete with others in bowling, I'd rather do it virtually. I get higher scores playing it on the Wii, haha. It really is a workout! My arm started hurting. Then played some Guitar Hero =) ... just on level "easy" tho. That was fun.

So, I've been watching The Next Foodnetwork Star pretty religiously and I want either Paul or Rory to win. Last night's episode was cool, 4 more people left. Next episode they're gonna do an Iron Chef type of challenge and they're bringing back the eliminated people as Sous Chefs! I'm excited to watch it.

Haha... and I've also been keeping up with the Flavor of Love Charm School. Last night was the finale. I honestly wanted Leilene, but Saaphyri deserved it more, I guess. She's had a really hard life and could use the $50,000 to finally get herself a place to call home. Haha, usually I wouldn't watch things like this, but VH1 traps you! For instance, I didn't watch Flavor of Love, Season 1 because the first time I watched an episode, I just thought Flav was so incredibly FUGLY I was like ew, I'm not watching this.

Then when I started seeing Oliver, he got me into Season 2, which was really good, btw! Haha! After that, it was just a domino effect because after New York got dumped TWICE, Oliver and I had to watch I Love New York to see if she'd find "the man of her dreams," which is funny because on the reunion episode, the guy she picked ended up dumping on her after seeing how New York talked shit about his mom. Haha, New York thinks she can do anything... man, talking shit about your bf's/gf's mom is like asking to get dumped. What was she thinking! Anyway, after that, they brought back the Flavor of Love girls and came out with Charm School. So, we watched that, too... and now that that's over... I think the next thing we're gonna watch is I Love New York, Season 2, haha. I dunno what we'd do without tv.

So, I finally bought my plane ticket to the big apple and will be there for a week! I was chatting with Mich earlier about some places that she HAS to take us and she mentioned going to the Brooklyn Museum because they have some really awesome exhibits. Then she goes, "OMG... now we HAVE TO go... look what they have..." and then links me up to this:

The Dinner Party!!!! Frikken crazy! Back in freshman year of high school, we did a project called The Women's Place Projects. We had to choose a woman and decorate a place setting for them, honoring their lives and contributions. My woman was Maya Angelou. On the final day, each of us had to put up our woman's place setting and it was set up just like the picture on the link. Whatta coincidence. I'm SUPER excited to see it! Yup, I think you're right, Mich. It's truly meant to be.

Oh my gosh, our house renovations are still NOT DONE! It's taking forever... Yesterday, I was chillen in my room, watching tv while the workers did their thing to the rest of the house. I just stay in my room when they're there because it gets so loud with all their machines and hammering. Anyway, I was laying on my bed and one of the workers just opened my door! I was thinking WTH! Can't you knock at least?? It was so weird that he just walked in just nonchalantly like that. He came in to install my new door for my bathroom. Yes! I finally have a bathroom door, haha.

Haha... soooo, 5 minutes after I submitted the blog below... I received a comment from some random person saying something like:

How do you get good grades when you spell things like "frikken"... and I hope you crash with your new permit and that your puppy dies.

Wow, huh? Can you believe that? What a bitch, huh? So, I left this person a comment saying:

It's not my problem you hate yourself and that you're so FRIKKEN bored with your own life that you have to comment shit like that on other people's blogs you don't even know! FRIK YOU, YOU FRIKKEN WHORE!!! get a life!

... and then I blocked him/her. It's my xanga and I can say whatever I damn PLEASE! *HMPH*
